Hi folks, I'm planning on re-playing Oblivion again. Now my question is this. I have a dual boot system with Windows XP (32bit) and Windows 7 (64bit). Oblivion is already installed on XP along with a huge amount of mods and tweaks but I would like to know, would it perform better or worse on Windows 7 (64bit)?
Also, I've not really been keeping up to date with any of the new mods being released so If anyone can recommend me some of the new ones that would be great.
Thanks

Wel i run it on windows 7 64bit and dosnt seem any problems:D Tbh i think it would run the same on either one. but how much RAM do you have? (just out of intrest)
www.tesnexus.com < go there and check out the most downloaded/top mods! Spend an hour searching through and finds which ones suits your gameplay style. :D

Should be pretty much the same performance unless you have some obscure hardware. If you have a low amount of system memory (<3GB) and are using high-end texture mods then XP 32bit might be marginally better due to the lower footprint.

3GB of RAM. My full system specs are

AMD X2 4200+ @ 2.6Ghz
3GB of DDR2 RAM
HIS RADEON HD 4850 512MB

From doing some more research I think I will probably just run it off XP. Easier. Read quite a few posts on various forums regarding some compatibility issues on Windows 7.
