this might be something worth watching for release and can be played as a group

Eldramoor was born when a ship of refugees, fleeing persecution, was blown off course by a storm and washed ashore on a mysterious island. Exhausted and alone, the travelers established the settlement of Eldramoor in the wild and seemingly abandoned territory they found. Over time, explorers mapped the nearby regions, each shaped by powerful leylines that influence both terrain and creatures.

A land of blistering heat and rolling dunes, Arinod is home to the competitive, vibrant Sauravi. Fertile with mushrooms as tall as the sky, Zobu brims with colossal flora and fauna as well as the resilient Bunfolk. Both stunningly beautiful and unimaginably dangerous, Glacera’s high peaks weed out all but the toughest adventurers, though the resilient Faunir handle them well enough. A twisted landscape of toxic swamps and warped creatures, Torcia is a nightmare haunted by a terrifying past.

From active volcanoes to mushroom forests, each realm reveals its own trials and mysteries, calling brave adventurers to uncover all that Eldramoor has to offer. But beware! A darkness, long locked away, has come creeping back to our shores. Uncover the land’s troubled history and defend the island from an ancient force that threatens to destroy everything in its path. problem is (with me anyway) i wont play with Randoms, so if no one wants to play, i dont play it :(

i want to play "A Township Tale" still, but no one wants to lol
 
i have that problem to Shi :/

im looking to spend some time and invest in something but it havent queit found it yet.

re township tale. i think the one thing that puts me of is the community seem to think its a lost cause now. i'll re visist it though shortly and check it.

A township tale was too "samey" There wasn't enough content in the game. There wasn't even enough to do with the content that was in the game. There was very little reason to do any of the grind.

It started out great but lost it's way.

I had OCD

i would re arrange all the shelf of items :D

i really wanted to finish that game, and craft everything and get down to the last mine floor

What the Experience Will Feel Like​

We want to be very clear here. Alpha will be rough, and that is expected.
  • Things may break or not work correctly
  • You may run into bugs, crashes, or server issues
  • Some features may be missing, incomplete, or change over time
  • Balance may feel off (some things too easy or too hard)
  • Performance may not be fully optimized yet
If something feels unfinished, that’s because it is. You’re playing the game while it’s still being built.

Looks good this, but hasnt this game genre somewhat struggled in VR i.e. Zenith? Afaik only really Forefront is getting full servers 24/7? Wish them the best of luck ofc. I could see this being more relaxed in that if u just wanna go off and do a job, like a Blacksmith etc, instead of fighting, then u can.
 
im seeing reports of forefront servers shutdown out of hours, but not sure if thats patching or not.

there is a lot of the Zenith people hopping over, and the dev team seem responsive to the user base, they have a good history.

their discord is active as well and doing regular updates.

they dont seem to be over promising at the moment pretty sensible in what they want to offer. also they have another company they work for/own thats sort of helping to support this. its like a community project for them giving something back

i missed most of the alpha due to life :/ but will look forward to the beta.

i feel it has a good chance of going some were longer term, it uese the leveling mechanic of "use" / XP per skill instead of XP per player and then player assigned.
so you can be what ever you want tobe IF you put the time in, and your not locked to a class *caveat with this*

it could equally just be a chill area.
is it going tobe perfect ? nope
but it should be a good starting point.

for those with the Freeaim VR shoes it could be a good way of exercising also if you want a fantasy setting instead of no mans skis sci fi :)
