Just had a new electricity bill come through for £300 for five months (updated meter reading).
This isn't an issue as if we've used the electricity we have to pay for it.
What might be an issue is that since moving into the flat in February we have had the hot water tank on boost constantly, purely due to the fact that the switch was already turned on when we moved in and wasn't label'd as the boost button.
Is it worth getting onto the letting agency to see if they will do anything about it? Through no fault of our own we have been heating our water 24/7!
