Electric Blankets

I had one for my bed which is absolutely amazing, and it seems to not work anymore for some reason even though the light still turns on.

Anyway, I am searching for a new one, I need an electric blanket which fits a double bed.

Any recommendations? I have hesitated to start this thread as it seems silly asking for recommendations on a blanket. So here it is!

I cheaped out and got the mrs an ebay one, no difference! The only difference is that the branded has heat settings 1,2,3 and the ebay 1,2 (2 being the same as the branded 3)

I don't want to cheap out and get fired or catch fire etc.

My one you could leave on when you sleep on number 1, and number 2 was a preheat setting.

That is what I thought, but don't knock them. They are amazing, and it is sad to say I am missing mine, and ordering ASAP.
