Do they really last much longer? I rarely go more than a couple of gigs without breaking a string and I wouldn't be happy if that still happened after paying 3x as much as normal.

Nanowebs are good, I personally go for D'Addario EXP12 on my Yam but that's because they suit the guitar better - definitely find the coating helps

As for OP's question, StringsDirect, Amazon or Ayr Guitars tend to have the better prices/shipping, although stick to Amazon mainly these days.
