Electric motor capacitor?

Not sure where to post this but here goes
Got a small compressor in my garage and think the cap has gone iffy as it sometimes struggles to start lately
Trouble is the cap has been painted and can`t read any info from it
Motor is 1kw/1.5hp
on a plate on the motor it says
U30
400V??? (is also printed on the plate)
cap is 195mm long with bolt on one end and a cable on the other hardwired in
diameter is 400mm
Have seen caps on the bay but they give ratings in `uf`??
Also length and diameter is different?(Size is not a problem.I just want to get the right one to try

Can you get a photo of the capacitor? “uf” is microfarads.

Cap is painted to match the motor/compressor(was like this from new)
So no info is readable on the cap unfortunately
The info i posted came off the plate on the motor

Lots of info there.Thanks.But can anyone take an educated guess what one I need.maths and calcs are not my strong point

Is it possible to remove the capacitor then carefully remove the paint?

Tried to `clean`off the paint,tried scraping and `cleaner`
No go,will have to take a chance and buy one that `looks` like it will work
