Electric toothbrush help!

I bought an electric toothbrush from Tesco, the Braun Oral B one. It came with a continental wire, I tried plugging it into my Continental->UK adaptor, but it doesn't fit, the two contacts are about half a cm off either side of the whole - what do I do now

That’s an electric shaver plug not a European one. £2.95 for a adapter to uk 3 pin here.

Or what I did was cut the charger wire right at the bottom just before the plug part, find a spare U.K plug lying around and rewire it

Job done... much easier than using silly adapters.
