Electrical Storm

It was the longest thunder storm I have seen. Continuous for almost 2 hours with hailstones and some absolutely huge strikes here in Bradley Stoke, some of them sounded like bombs going off. It was pretty awesome.

Yeah, it was a great view from my place in Clifton. The storm didn't seem to pass right overhead though. As SpeedFreak said, lasted for ages!
 
Heard off a couple of people that in chepstow there was car alarms going off, and rivers flowing down the road.

10 out of 10 for a storm :)

Going to have another one too tonight I think, can feel it in me bones.
 
I'm in Bentonville, Arkansas (in the states) at the moment and we've had it quite bad the last few days.

We've had lots of rain and thunder & lightning and also very strong winds and tornandoes!! We've had 2 in one night a few a days ago which killed 7 people.

I quite like thunder storms but over here they are completely different and must admit i've been scared!!
 
loads of thunder for about 5 hours some really loud in scotland today

only seen one bit of lightning but it is harder to spot in daylight
 
I was driving down the A38 towards Bristol last night, it was crazy. Bolts of lightning all over the place, yet no noise. It was like I was going to the depths of hell!
