Electronic Cigarettes...Where to buy online & which ones ??

I had an e-cig for a while and i was awful. It tasted like black olives, perhaps i got a dodgy batch but for me it definitely isnt an alternative to smoking. Wish it was :(

if it tasted like black olives i'd be happy :D

i found it tasted like a fungus cake that had been treated to a good farting :(

Seriously, i got a DSe 901 then a titan 510, the titan 510 is awesome as i say i smoked for 20 years the last 8 years ive wanted to give up and failed, then along came the titan 510, it really is like smoking but vaping.
There is a forum at totally wicked google it and look at the testimonials, my mate at work see me vaping he was a chain smoker for 24 years! he threw his cigs out the day he got his titan!
Have a look at the forum, i use the same username, any questions just ask... It really works!
Jay :)

Without doing any research, I picked up a cheap "Milano" last week. Since then, I've also ordered 2 510 manuals alongside a bunch of e-liquid, refillable cartridges, USB passthrough and a PCC from OKSmokey. Can't wait for those to arrive, as I've heard that the 510 is pretty much the "go-to" for general use.

As to whether it works? Well, pretty much INSTANTLY my smoking has been more than halved (I generally smoke roll-ups). The only time I head for the tobacco is when I need to charge my e-cig again. This shouldn't be a worry once the new 510s arrive.

What oil do you use? Can you buy the 510 and an appropriate oil from one handy linkable site? I picked up a jobbie from juicycigs, and to be honest, it was crap. I figure I'll try with the 510 since everyone seems to love it, and if that doesn't work, it's cold turkey for me.

Edit: Does picking the right oil help you? The generic tobacco oil that came with the juicycigs purchase, along with a bottle of some kind of fruity crap, didn't taste right at all and the vapouriser itself was crap - there was barely any sensation of smoking at all.

Ive also got the titan 510.

either the patriot range or red label range from totally wicked seem to be the best.

Ive tried a few flavors from http://www.liberty-flights.co.uk/products.asp and they seem pretty good.

Ive been buying several 5ml bottles of different flavors, because after a week or so of one flavor you cant taste it as much.

the apple pie flavor is really nice, and so is vanilla and dr pepper. not too sure what beef or stout flavor will be like

lol roast beef has some good reviews was thinking of getting a small bottle! agreed though after a while you have to change the flavour.

Actually, this thread could be pretty useful if everyone can let others know how different flavours fare.

I've got some OKSmokey Menthol, Whisky, and Double-Flavour Golden Virginia, Drum and Old Holborn arriving soon so will let y'all know!

now i know smoking aint safe and being a smoker now from 13 to 26 i really want to give up.

I have tried the patches to enhalers and they just dont work for me.

So safety.... what are the side effects etc to this? Surely if it was so much better you would get them on the help to quit thing with the nhs?

No side effects mate, have a read up on the forum i posted a few posts up mate.

As ive said , it really works i never thought id give up but it is so easy with the Titan, i started with a DSE901 but ordered a Titan 510 the next day.

I would suggest getting the starter kit:

http://www.totallywicked-eliquid.co...10-e-nic-compact-starter-kit-2-2-product.html

I would also suggest getting some e liquid, the best i have had so far is the titan menthol:

http://www.totallywicked-eliquid.co...itan-fluid/10ml-tw-titan-fluid-2-product.html

But there is so much to choose from!

My kit consists of a Titan 510, 3 batterys some spare atomizers and a Titan PCC, it basically chargers up the batterys when out and about:

http://www.totallywicked-eliquid.co...lectric-cigarettes-510-titan-pcc-product.html

I have alsorts of e liquid, it costs abit to get started but the right kit is the key, i smoked 20 odd rollups and like the 18mg juice, any more help or advice just give me a shout!

If you use totallywicked site you can use this discount code for 7.5% off all purchases that are not already on offer, just put the code AAC5E in at check out, oh and join the forum im on under the same user name.

After the intial set up costs, your probably looking at £20 a month! thats if you dont keep buying stuff like i do

from what ive read, there isnt much knowledge on the side effects, as vaping hasnt been around that long

(people said smoking tobacco was good for you at first)

all I know is I dont cough in the morning, dont smell of smoke, and my lungs feel healthier and food tasted better!

Yep, there have been no "official" studies done as of yet (mostly due to resistance from governmental bodies with the insistance of big tobacco, who have finally been confronted with a nicotine replacement that seriously threatens them), however the studies that HAVE been completed can be read online, and do nothing but bestow virtue on vaping.

Essentially: Nicotine ain't good for, but vaping beats the HELL out of smoking in terms of health effects.

+1

The way i see it, is yes no great studies have been done but im not 'smoking' 4000 chemicals anymore! ive even made my own from glycerine and strawberry food flavouring from Asda! lol but thats another story.
To anyone seriously interested, have a read up on the net and ill say it one more time, it really works :D

now that time has passed, can anyone recommended an electronic cigarette for a social almost full time smoker? i am lost looking at all these products on the totally wicked website..... cheers.

The Tornado Tank has been getting some good reviews from totally wicked, though not tried it yet myself, as have a mountain of backups to get through yet.

The riva from liberty flights UK is basically the same as the tornado but lots cheaper, using the discount code ECR69, think it's 15% off, though not ordered anything from there for a while, so it may have changed.

Try a Low Resistance atomiser (LR), few of my ex-smoker mates struggled with the normal atomisers, LR gives a much bigger hit.

and choose 18mg Nic strength. for E-liquid. That's midway, if it's not strong enough, you'll know to up it on next order, if it's too strong, get a lower nic.

I've been using a Riva 510 from Liberty-Flights for the past couple of months. Very impressed :) Customer service also excellent, by the way.

But I bought that before I was aware of the Tank. Luckily, you can buy the Tank atomisers/carts separately [though not from L-F, sadly] and just pop them on the Riva's battery, so that's what I'll be doing next.

Don't think they come in Low Resistance versions, though. Or maybe they're all LR. But I'm not that bothered, as I'm happy enough with normal resistance atomisers.

Anyone know of any good dark/black cherry e-liquids? Loving L-F's "Red Energy ;)" VG liquid, but fancy having another all-dayer in my collection.

In terms of hardware, I can't recommend Gary Dibley's mods enough. Got my hands on his Big Box Mod V2 a few weeks ago, and it's just magnificent for the price. Here it is, for perusal:

http://www.liberty-flights.co.uk/product.asp?id=59

Of course, you do need to buy the 14500 rechargable batteries and charger, but even with standard 510 atties this thing is great; most importantly, where on a night out I would find myself struggling to keep 510 batteries going, swapping them in my PCC in sheer frustration by the end of the evening -- one battery keeps this baby going all night long. Absolutely brilliant, and that's not even mentioning the manual on/off switch to stop it firing off in your pocket.

I was almost a convert to LR 510 atties when I got one not too long ago, but it lasted less than 2 months (in fact, I think it was about 6 weeks or so, if even) before it just stopped dead. Like, one second it worked... the next it was entirely gone. I've only had one normal 510 atty give up on me in over 6 months now, keeping them on rotation.
