EMA to stop?

I heard ema was spotting (I've also heard payments have been sporadic at best this term) due to government cutbacks and misuse of the system.

Is this true?

Just checked my bank account and all my payments have been going in fine, not heard anything about it stopping either.

EMA was and is stupid because students at that age waste all their money on going out or various products (cars and games for guys, clothes and beauty stuff for girls) then when they get to uni they are hit with £3k a year fees.

Instead of EMA they should have made uni top up fees not so catastrophically high.

its for kids who's parents get paid less than X amount. to keep em in college with the illusion that if they go to college, and then uni, there will be a job for them at the end (ha)
