What used to be a UK
by return post notification failures when I am not even sending mail? Short of blocking sender how can I deal with them as I am getting about 50 of these a day-all from different addresses. Thanks.

Edit: forgot to mention I am using Outlook express as my primary mail service provider.

for example: This is an automatically generated Delivery Status Notification.

Delivery to the following recipients failed.

[email protected]

What is the address they're supposedly coming from?

Up to about 50 different addresses at the moment. Everytime I block a days worth of these messages I get another lot the following day: all different (addresses)

They're all supposedly coming from your address or is it a catch-all?

My email address unfortunately. Just noticed Outlook express appears to be making changes or modifications in vista without my permission-at least according to windows defender which is no doubt related to this :( This is happening on a daily basis and would explain perhaps the differences in email addresses I am receiving. The thing is how to stop it as Vista and windows defender does not appear to let me?

i got this last year, literally 50-100 spam aday some odd days id get like 200-300 but that only happened once or twice... couldnt understand how anyone had got my email because im very careful with it, but i phoned my IP and jusat said that once someone has found a domain they just try everything under that domain until you find a way to stop it..

I found using Kaspersky i can check emails on my ISPs server before i download them, so after about a week of deleting them all i guess who ever sent them could tell that my server was rejecting them and gave up.

ahh the good old days, i used to be able to fill peoples hotmail accounts completely in about 5 minutes, was like 10,000 msg's now youd need billions :S
