Email help

mainly to put on a CV and to hand out at networking functions etc....I want to be able to have a professional looking email addy and also to keep work and personal emails seperate.
 
ah! OK! No, the new email address will be to add to my current CV as my contact details, it is also to be used to be given to people whilst networking.

It's just a way of looking professional and filters my personal emails from work related ones.

I hope that makes sense now?!

Any suggestions on the domain name now then?!!
 
gmail is a good place to start

I would go for first.last<insert number>

the exact format is not important (in my opinion) jsut avoid stupid addy's like [email protected]

any combination of your name be it <fistinitial><last name><number> or <fistintitial><middlenameinitial><lastname>@ will do...

personally I would avoid _ and - as if you ever have to tell someone the addy over the phone they may not know what a dash, or hyphen is...
