Email on ipad

when I load the (default) email program it opens/selects an old email from months ago, so I have to scroll to the top to see the most recent.
It's been the same email from June it does this with for a while now, but it's changed a few times....always from a few months ago

What' a happenin?

I’ve got this problem as well. I thought it was just my imagination (too busy to check properly) until I read your post. I don’t have a solution but it’s not just you!

Thanks for that info. It seems to have sorted the problem for me anyway. Bit silly of Apple having that option off by default.

Thanks....it was still doing it after changing that setting. Deleting the email it kept showing stopped it but still don't know what was up. Wasn't flagged or anything that I could see....
