I'm slowly replacing my ageing desktop with my MBP for everything, and the next hurdle I've come across is how to handle my email on it.

Currently I'm using some pop3 accounts for email, so my options are either use the inbuilt Mail program or Outlook as I've got Office 2011 installed.

Also would another option to be to signup to something like google mail and have my domain mail go there (if that's possible)?

So which out of those do people prefer/do?

I just use the mail app

I have exchange account, imap accounts with my domain provider, gmail account, hotmail account, and some local mail accounts.

I just forward most of my personal domain email to my gmail account.

Outlook 2011 for Mac is exceptional. Obviously a bit more of a resource hog than Mail.app but much nicer looking, much more feature-packed, etc. :)

Give me some examples, not trolling, just curious. I was going to install it for Work, and use mail.app for personal but have not done it yet.
