embarrassing Nexus S newbie questions

Hi all.

Just gone from a HTC Hero to a Nexus S. Am setting it up atm and cannot see how to add my facebook account to the phone to allow me to set all my contact photos to facebook pictures..

Having a look around, just going to Accounts & Sync, Add Account, and select 'Facebook' should do it.

BUT all I have on there is Corporate and Google. Was kinda expecting to see facebook, twitter and flickr on that list as well!

Do you have the facebook app installed from the market place? I don't think vanilla android like what the Nexus S runs allows it by default.

Might have to download the Facebook app first

On my galaxyS there is a tab called activitys in the phonebook.

Nexus S doesn't use the same custom Android version as on the Galaxy S

Is this not a Sense UI feature? There is an app called Contact Pic Sync or something like that that does a similar job.

having always used HTC Android phones i'm unclear on what was SenseUI and what was vanilla Android.
