There is a way to change it I think, because they embed a lot bigger on AVForums.

On a completely unrelated note (as the photography forum seems to be a bit of a ghost town) should I get a new comp (i7 2600k, currently on 2.53GHz Core 2 Duo) or a DSLR?

If you need a new computer get that, if you need a camera get the camera. I don't know how to answer that otherwise.

You can change the options under Share > Embed on Youtube. This site doesn't support HTML/iframes as far as I know though? Could be wrong.
