Thought there was a Relapse thread somewhere but can't find it.

Anyways for those interested...Relapse 2 is now called Recovery and is out June 22nd, his first single from the album was premiered yesterday 'Not Afraid'.
Links below are of the interview he did before premiering the single, then the freestyle which some people are saying isn't a freestyle as it's so good, I can't tell if it is or not.

(these are links to the searches not the videos, as video has swearies)

If you're an Eminem fan you probably heard all this anyway but thought I'd post.

A quote from the single

And to the fans, I'll never let you down again, I'm back
I promise to never go back on that promise, in fact
Let's be honest, that last Relapse CD was "ehhhh"
Perhaps I ran them accents into the ground
Relax, I ain't going back to that now

Cheers for that! i wouldn't call myself a massive fan but do respect his talent and some of his work is genius :) hope he has a good comeback (again!?) :)

^ That Despicable link was outstanding :)

My bother likes a lot of rap artists i've never even heard of that rap uber fast (or speed up etc) cant even understand what they are saying!

From the first line of this song I am happy..

He's back to normal now... ie no silly accents.

Fingers crossed this represents the quality of the album.. lyrically, in my eyes, he is untouchable...

Loving the new track, looking forward to the album. Ive liked all eminem's albums, but i definately prefer his more straight rap tracks rather than the silly accents etc that hes done, so ive got high hopes for the next album now.

Thanks for the heads

Not too bothered about Not Afraid...but have been listening to Despicable constantly. Don't care if it's straight off the top of his head or not, the word play and construction is amazing.

Yeah and it's pretty terrible from the first listen. I think this is the only album of his that I've not liked on the first listen. At the moment I'll rate it as his worse yet, maybe I'll grow to like it.

Are people talking about the Album here? Was looking to get it when its released in UK
