Empathy Quotient

36. Which kind of tallies up with how empathetic I feel I am. I do not get saddened by death/pain and have never cried at a death or funeral BUT I am sympathetic to how others feel.

Scores above 30 are generally not indicitive of an Autism Spectrum disorder.

I've never really cried at a film (apart from Wit, that hurt man) and find it odd when people do. That being said, I think I'm very empathetic.

I care about my friends and try to help out where I can and am sensitive to how other people are feeling etc however I can be terrible at reading situations and sometimes get the wrong end of the stick as it were. Overall I'm not the best in social situations and can be quite shy but I do try.

Yeh, this is pretty similar to me and i got 45.
 
I wouldn't say I'm the most the caring person in the world but the questions are a bit flawed. Seems to repeat multiple times different ways of asking "can you read someones mind / how they are feeling".

Well sometimes yes, sometimes no, sometimes you never know (I'd say someone who believes they always know is delusional :D )

I don't tend to get upset by the news but that's down to me being bored by it now and realising I can't do anything about it so why watch something that is just going to get you down everyday.

Balls...I'm not that surprised to be honest.

As others have said, I think I'm pretty empathetic.

I'm well aware that I have neither of those. The test doesn't equate for people that just don't care, not that they cannot empathize. That says something else entirely perhaps
