Anyone got this to run on Windows 7 64bit?
Running Windows 7 64bit, and I can't get the demo to load any further than the opening credits.
Hoo hum, back to vista for me.
Just downloading the demo. Looked at the screenshots on the official forums and WOW. Games like this have never interested me in the past, this looks awesome.

You managed to get it working on Win7 64Bit? I cannot at all it always stops at the first screen and freezes, so want to play this!

Overall I was pretty impressed by the demo.
Hopefully when the full game is released there will be a bit more variety between individual troops akin to M2TW.
Running it on a [email protected], 4GB Ram and a 3870 (stock).
For those with a similar system, FPS averages mid thirties, mid forties zoomed out, drops to 22-23 when zoomed in on mass carnage (using Fraps).
Settings for the game:
1680 x 1050, AA off (found this massively affected my frame rate)
AF 4X, most other settings on Ultra (with shadows on medium), environmental shadows off.
For me, the biggest hits to framerate are AA and environmental shadows, makes it pretty unplayable on the 3870.
If the Ati 49xx cards pitch up in April, might be time for a little upgrade.

Well it broke my Steam.
I just get 'scanning for steam games updates' and a 'blink' noise everytime I try and click on anything now, tried a reboot, still the same problem.
Demo downloaded in full, the update popup appears automatically, it's not encouraged by me.

Not really something that will bother me, one of the guys that I traditionally play turn based strategy games with usually takes around an hour to take his turn on games, so I am used to it when it comes to mp LAN games of E:TW

Yup, same here. Though I'm running XP, game freezes on the opening credits.
Just tried it on my Vista 64 bit partition, same problem as before. I am going to work, and hopefully the problem will have magically resolved itself by the time I get home.

It does take ages to pass the first screen, I thought it had crashed too. If the cursor is movable then just wait a while it may load up ok.

Played a quick sea battle yesterday:
Runs fine on my spec at 1920x1080 and all on high except some stuff like shadows on medium and water and ship details on ultra, no ssao and no depth of field.
When enabling 2x aa the game is playable but drops to about 20 fps.
Ship combat is a bit slow but looks nice. The main thing that annoyed me though is it had no screenlock, mouse went off my main screen onto my 2nd screen rather than turning the camera. The ui is a bit unclear too imo, it needs bigger buttons. Cool about the steam integration and achievements though.
