employer not paying me

i worked 23 hours last week for my employer (first time work, new job) and hes not paying me.

he agreed 105.8 pounds, but now is saying i wasnt employed and that was all trials, even though we agreeded my trials were over 2 weeks ago.

other employees have also had this from him, and he isnt paying them.

he also would only pay me cash in hand, saying something about tax....

the manager is backing me, and she is thinking of quiting aswell. i would quit but i need a job.

who can i call or what can i do to get my money.

my mum had to cut back on her job, and someextra cash would keep us in the black.

what can i do?

im 18 so minimum wage is 4.60

hes saying that would be the ammoutn i get, 4.60 x23, (no tax cutting...) and i will quit, but i need my money.

who do i report him to?

and where will i pay the tax from the work i have done seeing as he isnt, and i have to pay NI tax aswell

how do i get solid proof. i do have some hours logged not all, and the manager is my evidence of me working.

i need the money not job. but now he is saying im not even employed, even though i have dont work for him

he did not ask for my NI number.

i have asked at tescos sainsburys asdas morrison....no work.

maybe i shall ask again

many a time i have. even my current manager said she accepted me on the basis of my CV not ever seeing me before nor an interview.

so im sure my CV is good.

but i did ask around march last time, ill go again now.

i think i got a result or hes being sly:

i work in a computer repair shop, typically owned by a **** (yes i am one, and no i dont mind anyone else using the term) and he is a sly man, (typical of rich ****'s)

i came to his shop at 5

his shop closes at 6

i said untill he agrees to pay me i wont leave

he left at 6, leaving two employees there with me

one of them needed help assemlbing a computer, so i help

he comes back at 8, and the employees are wondering why he is so **, never have they had to work 2 hours after close time

then hes all nice saying ill pay you on sunday, dont worry, ill call you...

im thinking hes surpirsed that im still there 3 hours later, so hes trying to sweeten things so i go

so i left and we shall see. if no call on sunday, monday is the day he shall rue he messed with a poor 18yr old kid who needs money to pay for bills.

oh and i was posting all the other posts from that shop.

yar, from what i have seen, from my dads side, its true.

more karachite people dont do this, but my whole dads side and hi mare lahore people, and thats how they role.

btw he owns a takeaway restraunt aswell

for what? you're not getting paid in your job, so how's it benefitting you? job satisfaction?

for her own reasons with his aswell.

i work repairing computer/laptops and as a driver for his takeaway business, and he was meant to insure me on his car, but made me do deliveries uninsured.....

can i get something out of that, or would that take my licence away?

i knew i wasnt insured....

btu he has made others do it, not sure if they knew.

and he used the same vista license on a couple computers.

will i lose my brand new (6 month old) driving license if i tell the police?
