The blue ones? I don't think they are empty, they look like desks, so you cant really see people sat behind them anyway.

Wembley would have broken the world record attendance for a women's football match last night if there hadn't had been so many empty seats in the 'Olympic friends' section. The match was a sell out and yet the attendance figures were 20,000 below capacity.

So frustrating seeing all of the good seats empty!

I've always felt that they should have a checkin system. This works were you book your tickets with a credit card but doesn’t take payment take payment until you check-in 24 hours before the event. When you check-in you can print the ticket and your card debited/credited. If you don’t check-in, then the ticket you were allocated goes on general sale. This includes corporate, Olympic family and public.. Seems logically fair to me although may be unrealistic.
