Enable AHCI Mode before installing Windows 7??

Hiya folks, I am just putting together a new rig for my brother using the Corsair Obsidian 650D Case which has a hot-swappable drive bay at the top and just want to make sure that I get this 100% correct. :rolleyes:

So before installing Windows 7 Ultimate do I go into the bios and set the AHCI mode to enable hot-swapping using this top slot - is that the correct procedure.

Yeah enable AHCI first and then install the OS.
