See title.

How do I achieve this with the latest CCC? I can't find where to select these options in the advanced settings.

Having had the same problem over DVI and tried CCC and powerstrip the answer to you problem is :-

1. Remove ATI card
2. Replace with nVidia card
3. Use a set of drivers with the monitor scaling setting working.

Very simple!

If you are using a VGA connector then you can set the resolution to 1368 or 1360 but not 1366 as it is not devisable by 8. It depends on the TV as to whether it scales over VGA

In may be that the latest powerstrip does support 1:1 mapping for ATI cards but it is unlikely that CCC does

iv got a thread on this before which explain how its done. i managed to get it working with a 9800pro at 1360x768 using powerstrip, but nvidia is far better at doing it since it has advanced monitor timing available when the coolbits patch is applied. far better than ati cards method.

Thanks for the links fornowagain. Unfortunately I'm still struggling to get my TV setup properly. :(

At those AV Forums I read a topic concerning my television and a number of people claimed to have managed to achieve 1:1 @ 1366x768 with Power Strip. I asked in that topic how they managed it but I received no response.

In the first link you posted I tried using the timings suggested by the OP but that just caused my screen to go fuzzy and shrink the displayed screen to a small box in the middle.

Does anyone have working timings I can use to simply paste into Power Strip?

thats what i use with my Yusmart 32incher and 6800le, 7600gs and 9800pro.

nvidia does those settings in its own software. no need for powerstrip with it.

Thanks for taking the time to post that screenshot Cyber-Mav - most helpful post I have come across regarding this. Unfortunately Power Strip won't let me mimic them and I am stuck at 1360X768. I've given up now - it's not worth the hassle. If I had money to burn I would upgrade to a 8800GTX. But I don't.

A Couple of pointers..

All cards will run any resolution providing you dissable EID (allow resolutions not supported by monitor)

1366x768 is not a proper resolution as such, the steps are 8 pixels 1360 - 1368 but You may be able to use 1366 depending on input used and the TV's scaler, results will vary

Earlier Nvidia control panel seemed to work better than the newer, which I have found to cause image tearing ! and display panning if You put the mouse pointer to the screen edge

Use powerstrip or suchlike to generate custom resolutions also at 50 or 58hz refresh if You can to help smooth out video playback
and try to avoid any sort of adapter (GFX card) scaling. You Will always be running through the TV's scaller as it has to be able to accomodate feeds up to 1920x1080. DVI is the best connection quality wise

make a fullsize text doc and fill a few lines with AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA or iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii to check for the best resolution, You will soon find out which resolution gives the best result for using the TV as a PC

Good Luck
