So I have a 4890, and just picked up a cheap 240GT to use as a Phys/X card. What do I need to do to get it to work?

Just got this done, works alright. I used the instructions from here:

http://www.ngohq.com/graphic-cards/17706-hybrid-physx-mod-v1-03-v1-04ff.html

Mirrors Edge was a bit of a fiddle, I copied the PhysXExtensions.dll from my Batman install. I'd only played it before on an 8600GT @ 720p so the jump to 1680x1050 with everything on full was some nice eyecandy.

Batman has some nice smoke effects, bit unrealistic but hey :) Again, i'd only played this on my PS3.

The 240 seems like a decent enough card to do this kind of work, it's single slot so fits in the otherwise restricted bottom PCIE slot on my motherboard, doesn't need an extra power lead and does have a fan to keep it a bit cooler. The card idles at 9W apparentlly, so not really adding any heat to the system.

Overall, thumbs up. A nice, if a bit silly upgrade for £70.
