Enclousure using with Windows 8?

I have a new desktop which runs windows 8. I need to take data from a few HDs so I can not pop them all in, into the desktop. Usually I would use an enclosure but my local maplins when I went in could not know if they would be compatible with windows 8. So does anyone know of anywhere I could buy an enclosure and use with windows 8? Thanks in advance.

If it's a USB storage device and compatable with windows 7 it's 99.999% likely to work in windows 8

Yeah I was going to use a USB enclosure. So I guess I will have to spend the money and hope it works out ok.
