Hi guys

What is the best software out there to encrypt my entire c: drive please.

Dont have any partitions on there etc.

Been looking at truecrypt and it seems a bit confusing.

Need it to ask for password on boot before Windows and when my machine locks itself to ask for password from there as well.

Cheers

Truecrypt will do that, and it's fairly easy to do - I suggest trying it on either a spare or virtual machine if you're unsure.

Truecrypt holds your hand through the entire process and has help links everywhere. Just leave the encryption settings as default. If you haven't run it, I encourage you to do so because I honestly don't know how they could make it any easier - it's one of Truecrypt's strong points in my opinion.

+1 for Truecrypt. You want to encrypt the entire drive and it will ask for a password before moving onto your OS.
