Encryption/Synch apps for externals

Currently I use Karens Replicator to Synch my drives. My new WD 250 2.5 comes with WD Synch. Which is too limited for me, but I like the encryption features. Wondering what other people use for Synch AND Encryption for their externals.

Try using a combination of SyncToy and TrueCrypt - both free.

I'd also recommend both those free programs. True Crypt is a brilliant and secure encryption tool and Sync Toy whilst not massively featured can sync content to an external hard disk easily.

I've been using them on an external and I think I prefer Karens Replicator over Sync Toy. What annoys me about TrueCrypt is that you get a new drive letter for every volume you create. When you've 5 or 6 externals this becomes a PIA. Especially as windows prompts you to format the volume it doesn't recognise.
