Is there anywhere that shows when movies stop showing in cinemas.

My local cinema's website jut says out now, but it gives no inkling of when they will stop showing the film.

It's entirely dependent upon how well a film is performing, how many new films are coming, how many current films are nearing the door, how many screens a cinema has and how long it's opening hours are.

Most films will show for a minimum of two weeks in a prime slot (between eight and nine).

You could ask your local cinema but from working in one I know that you'd be lucky if they could tell you what is currently showing, let alone when they'll finish. Cinemas generally update their listings for the coming week on a Sunday night/Monday morning for the following Friday onwards. At that point they should at least be able to tell you if the film will be showing after Thursday.

Pretty much as above.

They aren't going to keep a film running if they can't sell any tickets, thus make a profit on actually showing it.

Things should also be fairly self-explanatory. If its a big blockbuster its likely to be shown a while.

Cinemas themselves also play a factor in it, but not so much these days. It used to be that with film stock, the number of prints was limited, which is still the case for some independent art house cinemas. With multiplexes using digital though, its just a file with a licence for a certain amount of time.
