This what I decided on
Asus P7P55D Intel P55 (Socket 1156
and Intel Core i5 750 2.66GHz (Lynnfield) (Socket LGA1156
then to start with OCZ Gold Low Voltage 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C8 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit will get some more atsome point and then there the graphic card that I have had for about 2 months now

Sapphire ATI Radeon HD 5770 Vapor-X 1024MB

what do you think of this setup..?

I sold my father old stuff which was Abit ip35, Intel core 2 E6550 and 4gb ram for £140 so the upgrade was only £200 not bad...

Fantastic setup, I've seen the performance of the Vapor-X 5770 first hand on a friends PC and it is a nice card

That is just my luck to end up with crap ram I think I will contact OCUK and get it changed before it's sent.

I am getting the 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit 2*2 do you think the dual channel is as bad,, Im gutted was so looking forward to getting it all now I'm thinking here we go 'balls'

From what I understand it was the 1600MHz Triple channel stuff that was hit and miss

I hope so, well its all being delivered on Tuesday so should all go well,
the setup i have with the i5 750 should clock well over 3gig from what i have read at diffrent forums... see it will oc as well as my q6600.
