Ender 3 Linear rail options?

'Almost' level. Taking a while. I'm being lazy and just keep running the 15x15 mesh measurement lol.

Once thing I will say, the Linear Rail included in this kit from 3DFused is excellent. Very good quality. No grinding, or any unwanted movement. I will either buy a new 300mm rail and carriage from them to replace my Amazon one (it's just money right? lol), or end up buying the whole X-axis kit from them, and then figure out how to to adapt that to my dual belt system. Oh and buy 2x 350mm rails for the Z, since I should be able to use 350 with the lowered bed.

Looking good, great build there.
What fan duct are you running?
Currently running the Satsana. Not optimal though as I had to hack the CR Touch to fit, and the fan ducts point at the nozzle, not the tip of the nozzle. I'm looking for an alternative.

Cable management needs a big work over, it's a mess lol.

I'm currently trying to sand down nylon spacers to use as solid mounts, It's all good except one corner is low, so I need to sand the other three to bring the level down. Slow process. Will get there.

Let me know how hot the Z motor gets. Mine is super hot since switch to belt drive. I might add a heatsink if it makes difference.

Yeah... it get's 'more than warm'. I added a heatsink, and it's soaking the heat quickly. I may actually swap to a bigger heatsink. I don't think there is a real issue, I am just being proactive.

If you want a project in the future you could try the switchwire mod :)

I was actually following a guy on youtube that was doing the conversion :) HyperMake or something like that.

I'm not sure what difference the Z geared version I used has over the switch wire or vice versa other than looks. It looks great, but what will I gain?
