Hello,

I did post in the long thread but no-one got back to me, so I'm creating a new topic.

I have been having endless problems with my Neo2 Platinum board, and for a while have had problems where I had to reset the CMOS a few times just to get it to POST.

Now it's been fine for a few days, and just now was playing Day of Defeat Source when suddenly my monitor went blank during the game. I checked it wasn't a screensaver or something which it wasnt, and I had to turn off the PC. I pressed the power button and it safely shut down, I just couldnt see it on the screen.

Now it wont even turn on at all!

When i turn the mains power on the power light on the case comes on for a second, off for a second, on for a second, off for a second etc etc etc, and that's all it will do!

What the hell is wrong with this computer?
Do I need a new motherboard?

EDIT: I tried another PSU, and got the same result.

ive taken everything out even including the processor and its doing the same.

it must be the board :(

in which case, if im going to get a new board i might as well upgrade to PCI-Express as the boards are cheaper.

i currently have an ATI Radeon 9600XT 256mb AGP, what would be a good board and new card be to go for, yet keeping it quite a low price?
