Enermax Tiwster Everest

I got myself 3 magmas a month ago. Using them as case intake and outflow.
Great fans for the money. They seem to be similiar (in terms of sound/airflow) to the Hiper clears and the fan on my Xigmatek Red scorpion.

Do they light up?

Yeah, well mine does, blue led. Should look like this when installed and switched on, and there's an option to have led on or off.

@Merlin5 post some more pic's when done :)

I've been using 3 Magmas in my Antec 900 for a while now (1 rear/1 side/ 1 on the back on hdd cage) still got two blue one in the front atm i need to buy 2 more somtime. They do a great job at keeping my case cool/cold ;)

Wow, are you sure you have enough fans there w3bbo?!?! :D

@ Merlin5, I am currently using those Xigmatek fans on my TRUE, and I will be using 3 of them on my 120.3 radiator once I setup my WC loop, I personally think that they are great fans, especially for the price.

But these Clusters look a lot nicer imo, but they are almost 3 times the price of the Xigmatek's..

I grudge spending lots of money on fans...

Though in saying that, when I get my new case, I want to replace all the stock fans with some Akasa Apaches, it's gonna set me back like £100 on fans alone! :O

Richy, I sure will take pics! I'm still waiting on two ac ryan blackfire 4 uv/led fans which hopefully will arrive tomorrow or by wednesday. It's gonna be a nice, colourful little light show. Davyboy, yeah, saw a photo you posted of the xigmateks and that inspired me to buy one. Gonna experiment with fan configuration and the xigmatek will end up as either rear exhaust, vga cooler or general case fan.

Youve gone for a good mix of fans there!! Why all the different ones? You just like the look of it that way?

Yep! I wanted my own mini light show, hehe. In some ways, I think one colour theme throughout would have also look really nice too, perhaps more subtle, but I think, or hope, that my own mix of colours works without being too tasteless.

another exellent feature of these fans is the fan blade just pops off for cleaning, which i think there worth it for that feature alone never mind the switch for the leds the temp probe, very good fan for the money IMO, i have just posted in the case gallery with my build using 3 of these fans.

Thanks! :) Yeah, I think the enermax definitely looks aesthetically best fitted on the cooler. I'll do some testing though and see what the VGA temps are like with both the enermax and one of the ac ryans. Have a feeling the ac ryan will drop temps more seeing as how it's quite a bit more cfm (77.70 v 46), but if there is no significant difference, I 'll keep the enermax on the cooler. Opinions I'm getting from some people is that there's too much led and too many different colours, hehe. Oh well, at least it looks interesting, lol.

Enermaxes!:)

I'm surprised more people aren't using Enermax fans around here. The specs on the Magmas aren't shabby and they come in a considerably more attractive colour than say... Akasa Apaches or Noctuas. What does brown go with anyway -_-

Everests are 12db 46.10cfm 0.993mm H2O @ 1000rpm
Clusters are 14db 53.02cfm 1.073mm H2O @ 1300rpm
Magmas are 18db 69.15cfm 1.400mm H2O @ 1500rpm

Anyone seeing a pattern? I'd bet it's just the circuits between them. So if I spun down my Magmas to 1000rpm... I'd get Everest level noise.

Just annoying that Magmas don't like being photographed. They are red but under strong light cameras pick them up as orange. Even the advertised photos.

I know tell me about :) there much better looking then Akasa Apaches and Noctuas fans, the Magmas are great fans there so quiet and they shift a ton of air

How quiet are the clusters? I'm currently using Noctua NF-P12's on the CPU heatsink and the rear case fan, but I don't really like the colour of them. I was thinking of getting one of these and running 3 of them off of it (2 in push pull on the heatsink and the rear case fan).
