Engine management help

Quick update , error code is P1152 which im told is connected to the fact the car is struggling to start so fumes out of exhaust are wrong

Seen on another forum it says possible cause of P1152 is exhaust system leaking and the weird thing is it is blowing a little , but was only replaced about 10mths ago for a brand new full system , but guessing this wouldn't cause start problems anyway

Not a car person but still points back to either starter motor or battery . Battery sits about 16.5 while car is running then starts to drop as soon as ignition off
Will go out and check in a couple of hrs see what it has dropped to

the clicking could be the starter solenoid, is it rapid clicking is the engine turning over when it does it?
16.5 sounds high when charging,
P1152 looks related to lambda sensor (they wouldn't of fitted new ones with the new exhaust), you need to get the blowing fixed
 
Doesn't really click a lot , just when it struggles to start I can hear it clicking a little but it is quite rapid

Seems be ok once its started though , even with error codes still seems like playing roulette to fix the issue
 
Probably needs a good service, filters changed , spark plugs changed and a general check over of the entire car.

The fault code you have points to the fuel/air mix being too rich - this could be a few things (MAF sensor/O2 sensors/another sensor/exhaust leak) and if you haven't got the time or know how to be able to solve it, I would just take it to a small independent garage and they should be able to sort it in no time.
 
Just had a mechanic have a quick once over it and says he thinks its 02 sensor so gonna buy one tomorrow about 25 quid im told and let him fit it

Fingers crossed it sorts out the issue , but least on top now car has practically had a full service too :)
