Being born in England doesn't make you English. It entitles you to play for England, it entitles you to be a British Citizen but it doesn't make you English. By the same token he could play for India because of his Indian roots.

I could list all the things, but I really shouldn't need to teach people about their own heritage. I was going to suggest people think 'Is this English or British?' before they post, but that would be silly - think before you post in GD
