Utterly utterly abysmal...why not play Lennon on the right? At least his right foot is reasonable, Walcott is no footed, might as well stick him on the left as he can't cross any worse!
Thats a good point but the team should always be more than the sum of the individual players.
That is why you see teams like Japan today being competent on the ball and containing England.
You got to hope that there is a David Platt or Gazza type player ready to step out of the shadows but I am just not seeing it at the moment.
Lampard to be fair - the way he's played second half of the season he's up there with the best. You might say that he's not shining in an England shirt, but at the moment Rooney isn't either - not scored in 7...

My god what an awful half 
They just play as a team, working for each other and doing the basics, pass and move.
It's not hard, England can't do it.

The less said about that half of "football" the better.
This was never going to more than a boring practice game. Capello already has most of his squad picked and unless one or two do something special in the next 45 minutes they won’t be going to SA. The rest won’t risk anything as there is too much to lose.

Not looking forward to the USA game at all.
Both will leave you tearing your hair our. You can save the fire job for when we lose to the USA.
