England vs Denmark score predicter thread

Well, I fell asleep yet again during an England match.

Still, I hope they feel fully prepared now to face the mighty welsh :p

Didn't seem that boring to me, I've seen far worse matches from our so-called breathtaking Barclays Premiership.

Eriksen impressed me, wouldn't mind snapping him up.
Young did well when he came on, showed good composure.
Why on earth Wilshere gets picked in a holding role ahead of Parker who has been one of the best Englishmen in that position over the past couple of years, I don't know.
Classic Glen Johnson performance tonight, idiotic blind square ball across his own defence (that they teach you not to do in primary school) in the first half, storming run to set up Young in the second. Too erratic a performer to have a long-term future with England, but entertaining nonetheless.

Thought England looked "decent" going forward, despite the poor level of players on show. Thought they were much worse in defence. Johnson being number one choice right back says wonders about the standard of right backs in this country. Nice to see Bent get a start and a goal. Pleased to see Wilshire start but disappointed in the role he was given (despite doing it quite well)

Eriksen looked very good, and dare I say I thought Bendter had a good game. Denmark looked decent in the middle and a bit light up top and in defence.

In unrelated news, shocking tackle in the Brasil v France game :D lulz! Sagna looked really good which is good news for Arsenal fans :p

And Messi scored a late winner in a good game against Ronaldo :)

Because this is England. The challenge is to consistently take players doing well in a certain position week in week out for their clubs and play them somewhere else. Then shrug when it all goes wrong.

You take milner who got in the england side off the back of good performances in the center for his club and whack him on the right or left etc.

Repeat all over the park.

I missed most of the first half so only saw the bits of Wilshere that they showed at half time. He looked pretty involved and sounded like he did a good job, is that how it actually was?

Anyone see Sneijders goal for Holland yesterday night, o my it was a cracker :drools:

EDIT: Original stopped working, but seeing the build up makes it even better!

Oooff.

Go get him Fergie, please.

He'd do well at Utd but in a more Rooney/VDV dropped striker role, as a central midfielder in the EPL, his work rate will kill you, and he's even worse than Scholes at tackling, well literally as inept at tackling as Scholes but a FAR worse temper, as a replacement for Scholes I think his lack of work rate(not always but he has games where he's completely missing) and his like of a rather dirty tackle won't work too well.

Thing is, Fergie/utd fans love Rooney, Berbatov is your best player, and realistically what utd need is a new central midfield pair before they look for someone to play essentially in rotation, IE Rooney/Sneijder/Berbatov, any two of them in any given game.

You need a proper DM and a proper Cesc/Lampard/Scholes type for in midfield.
