England vs India Test & ODI Series *SPOILERS*

I head out for lunch we're not doing too well on 180 for 5, but 45 minutes later I come back and we've got 0 6 6 6 6 off the last over with one ball to go.
I quickly check the score and we're at 310. Another 6 off the last ball on top of that and it looks like I missed all of the action. :(

What a cracking final over, mascharenas got lucky on his first 6 and then just smashed khan out of the ground for the other 4. brilliant finish. and great debut from wright

According to cricinfo, the last over was bowled by Yuvraj Singh who was blasted for 5 6's...terrible terrible bowling by India tbh. They might have just lost the match and series due to the last over bowled.

But what a recovery by England though, looks like India have a tough tough battle ahead unless they make a good start.

Yea they would have got smacked but not 5 6's!!!!!

India really need to sort thier bowling out....been saying this for years!!!!
 
Well India are doing much better than i gave them credit for, 100/0 so far with Tendulkar smashing the English bowlers all over the place. Ticking along very nicely, England need to get some quick wickets very soon...or else ti could end up with an Indian win.
 
Looks like Tendulkar just cant get his century:p...amazing turnaround for England...earlier on they were getting thumped and now have India on the ropes. Need 56 runs from 38 balls...not impossible but i dont think India will save this match and series.
What an awful stupid decision by Dravid to let Singh bowl the last over...31 odd runs given up and as i said earlier..probably cost them the game.

Still should be interesting to see if India can pull off a victory here but my money at the moment is with England.
 
Bit of a gutting loss that but it was hardly a good performance by England, more a product of some brilliant individual efforts but that's what you need sometimes and it came so close. The matches so far have swung on knocking over Ganguly and Tendulkar quickly, and when we've failed they've had a good enough start to take the game.
 
Crikey just checked cricinfo and saw that India won:eek:...how they managed that?? lol. Anyways good stuff from India...at least it will be a decent final at Lords....hoping i get back in time to watch it on sky.
 
Great win there and a great game for India. Sets up a great final match for this series. The Test series and now this ODI series has been terrific entertainment.

How unlucky can Tendulkar get? Since June he has been out in the ninties 4 times in ODIs and in the Test match twice out when above 80. He just can't seem to get that century!
 
England put themselves in a great position with that bowling, worth noting that in all the games we've won we've done it by bowling India out. Just a question of getting a good start in the powerplays and going from there now.
