English & European Football [24th - 29th Apr 2010] **spoilers**

i think berba plays better as a lone striker than rooney to be perfectly honest

I think with more games that would be the case because the team plays completely differently with Berba and Rooney in the team. With Rooney, everything goes through him but Berbatov is always bringing his team mates into play. He just needs more support from the wings and midfield which was happening at times today.

Another United player throwing up?

Hmmm. If I were part of the random testing squad think I might be tempted to take a little look at Utd. Thought there was something odd going on when the previously useless Nani suddenly looked a world beater then appeared to be having a heart attack near the corner flag in the Bayern game too ;)

i think berba plays better as a lone striker than rooney to be perfectly honest, he did a very good job today, valencia and nani played well, defence was good, im a very happy man :)

He was appaling the whole game.

He pretty much contributed nothing the entire match, it was only when Macheda came on we actually strung two attacking passes toghether.

Doing a good job today would have meant holding the ball up, bringing other players in, winning some flick on's and having a couple of good cracks at goal.

Other than passing the ball into Evra to go charging into the box, he did nothing of any value.

nani and valencia are both right wingers, man utd should sell one of them or use them as part of a squad rotation system, playing them both doesnt work as well as just playing one of them, therefore they need a left winger or a change in their formation

they should play a 4-2-3-1 against strong teams and a 4-2-4 against weak teams

Kirkland's been down for a long time... looks like this might be a bad one.

Hopefully it's not as bad as Cech a few years ago.

....

....

And he's fine

Curious, who do you support?

I'd suggest it's due to pushing himself that little bit further.

Brilliant goal from Nani, shades of Macheda's goal last season late against Villa in terms of it's potential significance

Berbatov certainly looks very low on confidence which is a shame because his involvement in the first pen shows what he's capable of, he did something very similar in the derby last week as well. We need more of that from him.

Going to be a nail biting finish especially with the news that Rooney is out of the rest of the season, luckily we have Brucey in our next game ;)
