English & European Football [24th - 29th Apr 2010] **spoilers**

Nothing like watching Arseanl in glorious high definition to send you straight off to sleep.

I watched the first 10 minutes and woke up with 20 to go. Worst half hour of my day.

Not exactly a result that i wanted but am happy with a draw...at least we didnt lose today which was my fear...surprised City didnt do much :/...thought they would have ripped us apart today.

Would have been much more pleased if we had won.

LOL....ermmm we would still be in with a chance if we had half our team playing ie first teamers that us...funny how some people seem to forget that we are missing our important players;).

But i guess its better than being a Wigan fan who yr in and yr out rely on a few lucky results to escape relegation;):p

Its funny how some people forget that with all those missing players fit, we lost to City and have often played just as badly with everyone fit.

Its only the excuse makers who think Arsenal have a chance at anything.

We were absolutely awful today, just embarassingly poor against a team that didn't seem to care about winning at all. DOminated posession and couldn't do a thing with it.

That happened often with our full team with RVP fit at the start of the season and for LONG spells in games we won anyway.

We were poor, the team is poor, actually the squad is very good except for 4-5 awful players, but the team choice is appauling.

People who simply didn't look like premiership footballers today, Diaby, Song, Theo, Sagna, Silvestre.

Nasri and Rosicky really just didn't do much of anything but weren't terrible, RVP showed how awful he is as a lone striker again, running off all over the place to get the ball but not being able to hold it up and link up players as they very slowly catch up.

One of the most tepid games of the season frankly, neither team played well, I'm not sure whats worse though, City barely even trying to get out of 2nd gear and being completely happy to play for a draw against a poor Arsenal team, or Arsenal, playing in 4th gear, just a completely and utterly crap 4th gear, trying to win and being completely unable to against a team that might well have been on massive doses of Zanex judging by the demonic grin on Adebayors face. I don't even know what to say about Adebayors 7rd old girl style pigtails, other than, the hair added to the grinning, if ever there was a candidate for drug testing.

Lucky?

Every team has luck, you only just beat Hull a few weeks back with luck.

You are dire, you go on about having injuries, every team has injuries.

You forgot the delightful shiny red clown shoes.

With Given with a suspected broken shoulder (according to BBC) that certainly gives Spurs a boost for their match with Citeh , also looks like Arsenal are nailed on for 3rd

lol at the report for the Barca vs Xerez match, look towards the bottom on the right at the list of yellow/red cards, 9 yellows, 2 reds. Madness in the final few minutes.

Barca won 3-1, Real literally this minute just conceded an equaliser to a 10 man Zaragoza, someone threw an elbow at Higuan, can't tell from the replay if it actually caught him in the face or not.

LOL. Orellana had already been booked before being sent off but Alustiza hadn't so that's 10 different players booked including the keeper.

Surprisingly, the only player not booked (David Prieto) has been booked twice and sent off twice in only 16 games.

What obvious trolling, Arsenal dire? They were in with a shout until a couple of games ago. They were written off earlier in the season after losing a few crucial games for the others in the top 4 to drop some serious points as well.

Sure they haven't been as good as Arsenal have been under Arsene but no one has particularly shone this year. Yep the team as it stands likely isn't good enough to win the title next year, so what neither is Manu's. Are they dire as well.

You always pop in to have a troll of a top 4 club when they lose. Yet burst into tears at the start of the year when I tipped Wigan for the drop.

I will, also Spawn why wont you be my friend on xbox live? lol

Sorry dude i dont keep northerners as my friends:p:D...im hardly on xbox live as it is dude...but ill add u when i get a chance.

Yep was watching the highlights on SSN and it just descended into madness...some nasty tackles by Xerez on Messi i think...twice if im not mistake and both reds :/

Real are just lol at the moment...with the squad they have you would think they would be miles ahead of Barca in the La Liga title run in.
