English League Football [26th Feb - 2nd Mar 2010] **spoilers**

Bet you feel a bit of a fool now eh? :p

He was spot on actually, City and Chelsea's goals have come from shockingly bad defending/mistakes. Their offensive play was pretty horrific throughout. Barry actually made a decent tackle or two for a change and some nice passing, but his "penalty" was pathetic, he was past the player and far FAR more interested in slowing down, waiting for the most minor contact and going down, than actually trying to score himself.

I really don't know, Belleti did stupidly run into him, but not hard enough to send him over, I'd say it would have been fair not to be a penalty as Barry clearly had no intention of doing anything but going down.

HIs tackle on Anelka was dumb as anything aswell, still a couple defenders, a crowded box and a world class keeper to beat and Barry made it easy for them to get a goal back.

THe first 40 minutes by both teams was shocking, the vast majority of the next 50 minutes was shockingly poor quality. I would have thought Ancelloti might have a brain and not play Terry, he was woeful against Inter and woeful today. Not sure why Beletti/Ivanovic couldn't have started as left/right back either way around, Malouda was shocking. THe simple pass through for SWP, who was otherwise useless, because Malouda decided to step up when he was clearly onside, took himself right out of the play for no reason.

HIlarious and thoroughly entertaining game overall though, shame it included so little actual good football, and quite funny that both red cards given the build up, had nothing to do with any confrontations with Terry or Bridge, or both.

Arsenal wont win today IMO, they never win at Stoke who themselves are in great form at the moment

1-1 I reckon and that's only because Stoke have already beaten them once already

Was expecting Chelsea to get beat today what a player tevez is arsenal still got a chance of winning the LP if they win this afternoon against stoke but you know what happened in the FA Cup. These players get paid so much to be professional football players and still take their feeling of the pitch affected their on the pitch performance like JT Wayne bridge should have knocked on JT door the day after JT got caught cheating and smacked his head in and forgot about it.

Not only was it a good result for Arsenal and Man Utd, it was a good game in general. Chelsea were well beaten and it just shows that when Drogba isn't on fire they're not invincible, so I expect them to lose at least 6 more points, possibly more, which is good because Arsenal will probably lose 6+ too.

Take it game by game, seems the most sensible thing to do given this random season. See what they're made of later, due a win at the Brittania, but having been there twice (and seen two losses :() and seen in first person how hard it is to get a result, I'm not sure on anything later

I think you will get a result today.

Bridge has the patience and fortitude of a saint, I don't know what I would have done if I was him there. I know it was just a simple handshake but the way he refused it was very subtle, and coolly done.

Sounds like this should be interesting to see on MOTD!

1642: The referee's assistant at St Andrew's, Trevor Massey, is in all sorts of trouble. He has spent the last two minutes sat on the floor, receiving treatment, after being hit on the head by the corner flag. Looks like he's got a nasty cut on his head and may not be able to continue. The flag had been the victim of a crunching tackle by Liam Ridgewell. Yep, Steve Bennett comes on to replace him. Massey looks OK, but a bit shaken. This has been one crazy, crazy day.
