Yeah Ferguson said he'll play at some stage. I just don't take anything he says seriously anymore though, before he said Rooney would have August off, now he's going to play in the community shield and the England friendly to get fit for the first game of the season against Newcastle. Confusing. It's making it hard to pick a good starting FF team. :p Have fun Shamikebab, should be a good match. :)

Chelsea for a comfortable win if United play anything other than their strongest possible side.
Ferguson will line up 4-5-1 with a flat midfield 3 and 2 wingers.

It's a glorified friendly, Fergie will play those that need games not a formation he thinks will win

Its glorfield friendly when we loose, its a good benchmark for the season when we win etc etc.

Whats your point got to do with what I said? I've told you that chelsea will beat anything other than the strongest united side without much hassle, friendly or not, thats just a fact.

My opinion on whether that is of any importance has not been voiced.

The last thing he will want however is to be beaten out of sight, something that will happen unless he plays 3 in the midfield as Cheslea would simply brush aside any combination of 2 midfielders from uniteds squad that you pick.

Middlesbough, Southampton, Reading, the dark horses down at Bristol City, Norwich last night were starting favourites with Watford doomed for the drop.
