English League Football & FA Community Shield ** spoilers ** [6th - 8th August 2010]

Its glorfield friendly when we loose, its a good benchmark for the season when we win etc etc.

Whats your point got to do with what I said? I've told you that chelsea will beat anything other than the strongest united side without much hassle, friendly or not, thats just a fact.

My opinion on whether that is of any importance has not been voiced.

The last thing he will want however is to be beaten out of sight, something that will happen unless he plays 3 in the midfield as Cheslea would simply brush aside any combination of 2 midfielders from uniteds squad that you pick.

You said Fergie would pick 3 in midfield I'm saying he only picks that in the big games we need to win, we dont need to win this one and it's more important to give the players who need games time on the pitch then thinking tactically about formations ergo if we have 4 strikers who all need minutes we'll play 4-4-2

Oh and son you dont tell me anything

Brilliant opening day.

Nice to have my Wednesday back :)

Two real classy attacks and decent goals, went two up after 15-20 minutes and then just sat back. They couldn't break us down, and rarely threatened our goal.

Most of the new players (we've brought in 9) played really well, was a bit surprised to see Buxton starting at right back, he's always looked like a mistake waiting to happen.

Anyway, great atmosphere :) 23/24'000 fans ! Good to see Wednesday pick up three points!

Really looking forward to the game this afternoon as well, C'mon United! ;)

You are a child, honestly.

That was used in the conext of "I have expressed my opinion on this matter" not I am ignoring any other opinion.

And please, just pack it in with the tough guy persona, we both know you wont step out from behind your keyboard.;)

Football players / mangers should "need" to win every game :)

Winning the Community Shield is still winning something, it's a game, as a player you want to win every game.

I have no idea why people think that chelsea are firm favourites for this game. United have had the better pre season and have a stronger squad than chelsea in my opinion. Cole for benayoun was madness and they have only sold apart from that really.

Chelsea v Man Utd Teams:

Chelsea: Hilario, Paulo Ferreira, Ivanovic, Terry, Cole, Essien, Lampard, Mikel, Kalou, Anelka, Malouda.

Subs: Turnbull, Benayoun, Drogba, Zhirkov, Sturridge, Van Aanholt, Bruma.

Man Utd: Van der Sar, O'Shea, Jonathan Evans, Vidic, Fabio Da Silva, Valencia, Scholes, Carrick, Park, Owen, Rooney.

Subs: Kuszczak, Berbatov, Giggs, Smalling, Hernandez, Nani, Fletcher.

Its pretty bad, but I hope that fergie has gone batty and is playing carrick with an injury and it puts him out of action for the whole season. He just annoys the crap out of me when I see him play. Would also force fergie to get Ozil.

I would say thats a line up geared towards the players who need the most game time, bar Nani.

We can make 6 subs, so it's going to change. Just about looking sharp, something those players starting need.

EDIT: Although that Chelsea line up looks like their strongest, without Drogba that is.
