English League Football ** spoilers ** [11th - 15th September 2010]

Ozil was decent at the weekend, it wasn't exactly a good performance from Real but he was probably the best attacker, kept himself busy and was always trying to start something.
 
lol, Ozil was misplacing passes all over the shop in both of Madrids games, his shooting was bad, his crossing was bad, defensively he was, dodgey. An awful lot of the ball went through him and he created very very little.

Surely if Ozil was playing very very well, the team might have, you know, not looked truly pathetically bad?

No wait, you watched the highlights, and you decided to let them make up your opinion for you. Highlights can show the 15 awful passes, or the 3 good passes, or the single great pass, one would make you think he was crap, one would make you think he was average, one would make you think he had a great game.

Trying to pass off your opinion based on highlights(which by and large show the "best" bits of a players game, because a failed pass is usually pretty dull) is beyond daft.

Watch the game, I did, Ozil did nothing or real note throughout, much the same as the whole team, horrible horrible performance all around.
 
How can Ozil have done "nothing" of note, if he was featured in the highlights? Surely he must have done something, in order to get shown?
 
As far as I can tell it wasn't 1000 league goals, but overall.

Edit - you're right, thought that was a bit low for 14 years. :o Still a quarter of those goals directly or indirectly by one man.
 
Update on Zamora, confirmed ankle ligament damage and broken fibula. Out for 5 months with the next two weeks having to keep his leg elevated.
