I can see Spurs drawing against Bolton. We'll be straight into 5th tomorrow. 0-3 comfortable win I predict against the Tangerines. :)

Van Der Vaart and Lennon are both out. It will probably be a very different team with players injured/rested/coming back from suspension.

If I were a betting man, I'd bet against a Spurs victory.

vdv is out :(...just put him in my ff as well :@
Please please please Mancini mastermind a win.
Team:
----Balo---Ade
--------Silva----
---Milner--De Jong--Johnson
Kolar-Komp-Lesc---Zab
---------Hart----------

I can see Mancini going if results don't improve.

Hughes was better off at this point last season wasn't he and he went?

West Brom are in good form, given the Wolves result West Brom could really fancy this and will be up for it.

(Had a good performance against most of the big sides they've played so far)

They're in good shape too, if Mancini messes that one up I can see him being sacked.

I despise the kneejerk reactions in football. We're still fourth for gods sake, having already beaten Chelsea. We lost to Arsenal with ten men (oh noes) and the loss to Wolves is the only real **** up worth mentioning. I don't doubt if we loose there will be some idiots calling for his head but its a right load of balls IMO. We were never going to be praised when we won this season, and we were always going to be absolutely slammed when we lost. Doesn't mean every time we loose we're going to undergo a managerial change.

He was only 2 points better off, but the team was MUCH newer then, sure Balotelli/Silva/Koralov/Milner are new, but the changes to defence/midfield were much bigger last Summer transfer window. City defence and midfield was learning and getting used to playing together so they had a few more draws. They only lost twice, less than Chelsea/Utd/Arsenal by the time he got sacked.

He got 32 points in 18 games in a very new team that had Tevez only just starting to score while Mancini got 35 points in 20 games with worse(not hugely ) points per game and he had Tevez hit a ridiculous scoring record that personally I think was all down to Hughes.

Look at Tevez at Utd, not even close to prolific, always in midfield trying to kick someone. He started like that but like Rooney last year, both managers got their players to play further upfront, stay further upfront and get into goal scoring. Tevez became a different player under Hughes.

For the non City supporter, who cares more about entertaining football over their points tally, Hughe's City was massively more entertaining.

Mancini instantly looked the wrong man for the job, if CIty lose to West Brom, then Utd, its pretty much game over for him.

Question is whose available to take over at the moment. Whats Hiddink up to, Rijkaard?

Its not just that, as it stands, you've lost to Sunderland aswell, you've scored less than half as many goals as Chelsea, and you've conceded OVER 3 times as many goals. 13 goals scored is 6 worse than Newcastle, Blackpool and West Brom.

I think any team that spent that much, or 1/10th as much in the past couple of years, no matter the manager, even if you were top, would be laughed at for being outscored by 3 promotion teams, one by almost 50% more.

The club isn't clicking, you've bought a bunch of people who shouldn't get near as backup, Milner, he had such a massively average season, 7 goals, of which I don't know how many were penalties but I'm sure he scored a few, for a guy who played the majority of the season in a top 6 club, thats, frankly, poor, not good.

With the squad he has, 4-4-2 should be a given, except he clearly wants to play defensively despite the massive spending on attacking players, and he's massively overspent on defensive minded midfielders, who can't all be on the pitch at once, which would only get worse if he switched to 4-4-2.

I think we should be playing a 4-4-2 but i just don't think its going to happen.
I agree with Adrianr. We are not doing badly but at the same time we are not doing what we should eg beating teams such as Lech and Wolves (no offence).
