I bought the Gainward GTX 260 'Golden Sample' about 4 months ago and - according to the manual - I can run this card on 'Enhanced Mode Settings' as it is the 'Golden Sample'.

But there is no option to do so. :(

Why is this? Is my motherboard not good enough or something? I upgraded my PSU yesterday... (Very pleased with it)

I have the same card and you are supposed to be able to set 'enhanced mode settings' in the performance settings in Expertool, however this does not work for me as the bottom menu is all messed up.

Also im using Nvida driver version 195.62 as the performance setting in Expertool do not show on the newer ones.

My OS is W7.

are you using the original drivers when you got the card i know it would be old but that is one way you could debug to see if it only gainward drivers or nvidia which is causing the problem... also with win7 i do notice some problem, when it first came out with some driver issue, maybe that could be a problem, if you have a xp system or vista try it out, and see your results..

I am using 196.21 nVidia drivers with windows 7 64 bit i have installed EXPERtool no problem but it has stopped showing the Enhanced Mode bit even after a fresh format dont get me wrong my system is working fine there is not a game it cant play at full stretch but just curious why no Enhanced mode when i know it was there before Yours gratefully Curiousity

probably have to use drivers from gainward to make it work, which means youll always be a version or two behind nvidia ones. Had to do that with my XFX 7950gt for a long while, since nvidia drivers didnt detect it for ages....
