I've got that, but it was so different from their debut album I decided I didn't like it and never really listened to it properly.

So many good tracks.. witch dance just dribbles, almost staggers with both drums, bass and guitars along with the vocals. Excellent drumming:

VHV is like a Vietnam era, flower power riff..

Superb album!

Stone From The Sky - **** The Sun is a interesting instrumental group although a little too intellectual.

Was always more of a doom metal fan tbh but I've always loved 2 of the songs from the Cathedral ‎– Hopkins (The Witchfinder General) EP.

Personally I love it from 2 minutes plus rather than the Niel moves he's pulling at the start...

No Ozric Tentacles?

For shame!

og-ha-be
erpland
jurassic shift
sunhair
strangeitude
white rhino tea
bizarre bazaar

to name a few tracks and albums.

For shame indeed, sir!

Yeah me me me, I saw them live supporting Hawkwind, then I bought one of the original limited 'Vitamin Enhanced' box sets before Kelloggs went narky and they got pulled.

Was just going to post the same thing myself! Have seen Ozrics so many times over the years, love them.

And funnily enough I'm listening to them at work right now on Spotify - currently on "Technicians of the Sacred" - though Pungent Effulgent and Strangitude are always my favourite albums

[glacial response time/] Pungent Effulgent and Strageitude were the first 2 albums of theirs I bought. Great sounds. I also got a double album - Afterwish; it was great. I say 'was' as the cd's themselves have degraded and are now unplayable. Something about the fine metal laminate (aluminium?) has corroded or maybe the resin. Who knows :( No more chinatype.

Seen the ozrics twice, both in leicester - first time at DMU (demontfort student union) no longer there, second was at the charlotte pub, also no longer there (not how it used to be anyway).
The support band at DMU had a tough crowd - basically a hundred or more people just sitting on the floor under a huge cloud of hash smoke, passing blunts all over the place between random strangers. Good times :p

Pity Roly offed himself. One of the things that drew me to the music was the bass sound and dynamism (until I eventually took up the instrument myself).
