Enlarge & Trace into vector

Hi,

I have an issue, im trying to trace & enlarge the icons in the image below, i only have a scanned version of the image , not an hi-res original. I have used illustrator to auto trace, and then started to clean them up.... im just wondering if there is any easier, quicker way to do this ?

any tips or help is much appreciaited

could trace the outlines by eye with the pen tool? doesn't look like a big job..
