Anyone on here had any dealings with an email integrated fax solution? A customer wants to do away with all their fax machines and have the ability to send/receive faxes from their Outlook client (so exchange integration is a neccesity).

Cheers

How many users?

I've installed GFI Faxmaker for users, which connects via Outlook / Exchange. Incoming fax routing needs some thought.

At present it's for a new office block which will have about 200 users in it, will be replacing 10 fax machines. If it's succesful there will be rolled out for use by the rest of our customers who want this, and that would mean replacing a few hundred fax machines. So quite large scale i think.

I've been on the FaxPress courses and been hammered with the marketing schpiel but it was a good product. Just worked.

Been a while though, so potentially much better stuff about.

We've been running Rightfax for the past 7 or so years. One of the only systems which has never gone wrong in any way shape or form.

Another vote for Rightfax here, seen quite a few major retail companies using it some integrated with mainframe and all sorts.

One of the retail companies I did some work for had Avanquest supporting their Rightfax implementation.

The consultant they sent was a joke, ended up missing lots of 'advanced' Rightfax settings in a migration and broke quite a few critical processes. Which I ended up fixing.

So do we. And they can't fix my upgrade issue and have now stopped responding all together.

When Avanquest get stuck they stop responding/go slow. Exactly what I experienced, ended up just taking them out of the picture all together.
