Entourage

I just watched 5 seasons of this in about a week. (never heard of it before this thread tbh).

Have to say both me and a mate absolutely love it!

Ari is awesome <3, the theme song rocks, sooo many hot girls. Good humour most of the time etc etc.

On the downside, episodes are too short, it's too shallow, Vince cant act "acting". 'E' is a bit annoyingly pathetic, and by series 4 the running jokes have gotten boring. (Johnny Drama is a crap actor and is a bit of a tool... Yeah I got that two seasons ago, no need to keep rubbing it my face) etc.

I love it and want more. But I wish it had a bit more depth tbh.

The problem is, it was originally meant to be a comedy, became a dramedy and now it's just a (crap) drama.

The more I see of S8 the more I think the film is going to be a complete train wreck. They've taken away Drama's edge and Ari's character has been eviscerated (no spoilers here as Van Hellseck is only on S5).

The most recent episode... Seriously?!?! With only 3 episodes to go, almost nothing has happened and I don't see how it suddenly will. Ari has been turned into a complete simpering ***** (rhymes with wussy), and even Drama has no edge now.

All that bit about E running after Sloane was making me retch. What the hell happened to this series? He's always threatening people with violence too. That is one angry gnome.

Sad to see it finished but in a way glad. This season has been really rubbish. Anyone like the Marvel-esque ending? Made me laugh. :p

Wonder where they got that from. Everyone involved is "sure" there's gonna be a film but there's no script or timescale as to when it'll get moving.

Overall, I have enjoyed every single season and episode.

Granted it fell a bit off in Season 8 but none the less, it was still enjoyable.

I defo will continue to watch the program even though it has ended, and it would be in my top5 tv series that ive seen, ever.

Last season definitely dropped off, final ep was mega disappointing... so rushed!

Still, very enjoyable series. Wouldn't mind a movie from it.

Ending might as well have been from Sex and the City. :/ (Quite ironic considering my first post in this thread from 3 years ago!)

I think it's come to its natural conclusion now. It never really regained the "punch" that the original couple of series had, but you have to stay its still a great, entertaining program.
