EOS 3D ?

Was just watching the f1 1st practice from singapore, and a driver was being interviewed. and a bloke was taking a pic of him, on the camera strap it said EOS 3D, oooh indeed.

Couldnt rewind though as it was on red button.

im sure it was a 5 series....i hate these 3d rumours theyv been going since the mid 2000s and it was old then as it is now.

If it is like the EOS3

It is basically a 1 series camera with only a tiny functionality being held back.

It had proper weather sealing, 100% viewfinder, high FPS, built in grip etc

Then perhaps like the EOS3, it'll be a 35mm frame

Mind you, it could just be a fellow togger playing tricks to the wider public spotters.

You think if Canon had unreleased bodies being secretly field tested they'd have

a) been bothered to have straps made up for them with the name on for a pre-production model?

b) be stupid enough to put straps on them with the name of a unreleased camera?

If they're that dumb it'd have leaked ages ago...

If there is such a thing as an EOS 3D undergoing field evaluation, it certainly will not say EOS 3D on the can. More than likely some joker trying to get himself a bit of attention.

That says to me that they are unveiling something on the Video side of things. Most likely a Video Camera with a 35mm sensor which has an EOS mount, designed to be a small but highly functional video camera, rather than an SLR being used as one.

At least say where you pinched the pic from.

I still think it said 3D and that canon went to great lengths to tamper and photoshop the pic and make it say 5d
